A Contract Loan Processor's Opinion


Competition has become fierce and time is critical.

We need to give the best pricing, fastest turn times, and best customer service possible.  

Loan Officers - Pay attention!!!

There are a TON of different loans out there and each lender seems to have their own niches, product exceptions, turn times, and pricing. It's important to know who has what AND what the guidelines are...  

When turning over your new loan to your processor be sure to include the following:

Program

Lender

Pricing

Comp

Provide an email or coverletter explaining EXACTLY what you need and want.

Provide as much upfront documentation as possible so that the processor can review and subtract and/or add what is sent to the lender.

As loan processor for over 30 years - I get the job done faster than most. I know what's important and I'm a bit pushy.

A contract processor does NOT get paid unless the loan closes.  It is extremely important to us to work quickly, cleanly, and provide the best service possible to our loan officer and the buyers/borrowers.
